Planning a late Spring early Summer getaway? How about a complimentary bottle of Neudorf Pinot Noir?
Early summer in Nelson/Tasman is terrific for cycling, walking, swimming (maybe!!), relaxing and indulging your taste buds down at the Wharf. NIWA is predicting a long hot summer this year, so… bring a friend and come on down after the usual summer crowds.
The promotion applies to bookings made directly on our website for the period 1-30 November 2018.
Spring in Mapua is fantastic – restaurants and cafes on the Wharf, the Mapua Ferry connecting you to the Great Taste Trail, Walks along the Ruby Bay coastline, Cycling rolling hills of upper Motere, Abel Tasman day trips…
So we’re offering a special: 15 % reduction off our off peak rates. For example, if you are flying in on a Friday night and can only stay the weekend, you can schedule a late flight out on Sunday night or stay overnight and catch an early Monday morning flight. Please mention SPRING SPECIAL when you book as we have to adjust the price manually.
The offer is valid From mid September through to mid November , 2018, when booking directly with us on our website, (when we can we will offer you an extended checkout optionwhen there is no one previously booked on the same day that you are leaving; we can commit to that at the time of your booking so that you can rely on that for your other travel arrangements.)
ps: by the way if you do fly in I’m happy to pick you up and drop you off at the airport.
pps: For efficient local travel think about renting an e-bike down at the Wharf. With that type of transportation it’s easy to make day trips into Nelson, Richmond, Motueka, Kaiteriteri and to the many wineries in the Moutere (Neudorf, Mahana, Kahurangi to mention only a few). One couple did just that recently. They cycled on their e-bikes to The Honest Lawyer, had a great lunch, and cycled back to Mapua. It took 2 hours there and 2 hours back – but the e-bikes make headwinds a breeze (pun intended).
It may not quite be quite the right weather yet, but we do have some new outdoor furniture:
We’re continuing our “Putting the Taste into the Great Taste Trail” campaign. Forsters, the new restaurant at Mahana Winery, is right on board and offering Mapua41South guests a 10% discount.
They are open 7 days a week 11am-4:30pm for lunch and dinner by arrangement.
Here’s a few photos to tempt your taste buds.
By the way, guests over recent years have told us that besides having a stunning setting at Mahana Winery, the quality of food and service is not only superb but reasonably priced. We’re so very fortunate in Mapua to have such a variety of high quality restaurants to choose from. Enjoy!
This morning we were off on an early start for the Hess party of 3 – Bryan Abbey and Bonnie. After grabbing coffee at the Village Bakery, we had to drive to Marahau by 8:20am! Thanks to Michael and Pam at Guest NZ for setting this all up!
